Equinix DA12 Advances with $836.5M in Filed Work
The Dallas data-center development combines a core-building filing and a later interior fit-out, with filed schedules extending into 2028.
Equinix’s DA12 development is progressing at 1550 West Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, with September 30 reporting describing visible construction on the four-story facility. The reported 372,517-square-foot project is planned to reach 67MW at buildout.
Two registered scopes carry estimated construction values of $542.81 million and $293.69 million. Their combined $836.50 million is a sum of filed packages, not confirmation that one contractor holds a single contract for that amount.

Core construction and fit-out have different schedules
The core-building work is filed through October 2027, while the later interior scope runs through March 2028. These are registered schedules rather than a guarantee that all capacity will be operational on either date.
The main filing describes 20 generators, five generator pads and extensive mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Those elements help distinguish the project from a conventional commercial shell, but individual trade awards and commissioning responsibilities require separate confirmation.
Keeping package descriptions separate
Public project descriptions use DA12-1 and DA12-2 labels, but they are not consistent enough to infer two separate completed buildings from the labels alone. This report treats the quoted values as the identified core and fit-out scopes rather than adding unverified building counts.
Member contractor intelligence includes the project-controls consultant’s identification of the construction lead. Detailed electrical, mechanical, generator-installation and commissioning allocations remain unconfirmed in the reviewed information.
