Hunt Plans 290-Room Hotel and Event District at Toyota Stadium
Hunt Sports Development, Peak Curated Development and VENU are targeting a 2027 groundbreaking for the east-side district at Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center.
A September 22 announcement sets out a hospitality and entertainment development on the east side of FC Dallas’s stadium campus. The proposal gives Frisco contractors a defined first-phase program, although a separate construction budget and delivery team have yet to be disclosed in the announcement.

Hotel and adaptable event space
The hotel program includes dining, a rooftop bar and lounge, spa and fitness amenities. The partners describe more than 25,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space, including a 15,000-square-foot ballroom. Event configurations could accommodate approximately 3,000 people for music or other entertainment.
The meeting-space and ballroom figures are components of the announced program, not additional areas to be added on top of the overall event-space total. The east-side proposal also sits alongside a separately announced office development west of the stadium.
A complex fit-out behind the hospitality program
The combination of guestrooms, food service and convertible event space points to potential work in structure, enclosure, mechanical and electrical systems, kitchens, interiors, acoustics, audiovisual systems and event lighting. These are likely trade categories inferred from the program; no open bid packages have been confirmed.
A room that changes between conferences and live entertainment brings coordination questions beyond ordinary hotel interiors. Designers and contractors will need to align sound separation, loading access, rigging, occupant circulation and building services with the eventual operating plan.
Who is delivering the construction?
The three announced partners establish the development relationship. The release does not identify an architect, general contractor, hotel operator or trade contractors for this east-side phase. Firms working on the separate stadium renovation should not automatically be attributed to the district.
Before estimating or reserving capacity, prospective bidders need the phase boundary, issued design information, procurement route and approved budget. The 2027 groundbreaking target does not yet provide an opening date or a detailed construction sequence.
