$173M Loan Unlocks Construction of 265-Home South Congress Development

Developer rendering of Leland South Congress overlooking the Austin skyline
Leland South Congress — developer rendering.

Leland South Congress has announced construction commencement after securing financing, bringing condominiums, retail and shared amenities to a prominent Austin infill site.

Leland South Congress has reached a significant delivery milestone: construction commencement following a $173 million loan from BGO. Intracorp announced the start on October 6, and the project’s own website now confirms that construction has commenced.

The development brings 265 condominiums to South Congress Avenue at Live Oak Street. Intracorp and co-developer Leifer Properties are advancing the project with Northland Properties and Aron Industries as partners. The financing amount is a construction loan, not a verified total development cost.
