Wilson Capital’s apartment project adds another residential component within the Easton Park master-planned community.

The Local at Easton Park is reported to be under construction in Southeast Austin. Wilson Capital’s own portfolio confirms the 306-unit apartment project, while October reporting provides the more recent construction-status update.

The owner’s page still labels the project as coming soon. That difference in timing is worth retaining: the owner material establishes the project and developer, while the newer report supplies the claim that physical work has begun.

A project within a much larger community

The current construction account describes approximately 312,422 square feet in three-story buildings at 8920–8921 Hillock Terrace. It places anticipated delivery in January 2028. These are reported project dimensions and a target date, not a guarantee of first occupancy.

Easton Park’s wider master plan covers approximately 2,700 acres. That figure belongs to the surrounding community and must not be used as the acreage of this apartment site.

Follow building and service milestones

The next useful indicators are completed structures, utility connections and a leasing timetable tied to the first available homes. Being within an established master plan does not remove the need for project-specific service readiness and acceptance.

The reviewed owner material does not identify a general contractor or disclose a total construction budget. Those remain open research items rather than names or costs to infer from the developer’s other work.

The surrounding master plan is context, not project scope

Wilson Capital’s material places the apartments within Easton Park’s established network of neighborhoods, parks and trails. Those features help explain the location, but community-wide amenity statistics should not be presented as works included in this apartment contract.

The project-specific boundary is the useful next detail: the buildings, parking, landscaping and connections the developer must deliver for this site. A defined boundary would make future cost or contractor announcements more meaningful than comparisons based on the much larger master plan.
