Anthropic Listed at Nexus Campus With $800M in Hubbard Data-Center Filings
Texas records connect Anthropic to the Nexus data-center campus, while two separate Hubbard building filings carry combined estimated construction costs of $800 million.
The public record is giving a clearer picture of Nexus’ development in Hill County. The Texas Comptroller’s qualifying-data-center list names Anthropic, PBC as an occupant in the Nexus entry.
Separately, state accessibility registrations describe two data-center buildings at 357 HCR 3372 in Hubbard. Read together, the records establish a campus-level occupant connection and a substantial filed building program. They do not allocate Anthropic to a specific building.

Two Buildings, Two Filed Schedules
HB1’s TDLR registration sets out a 491,378-square-foot building with a $400 million estimate. It lists January 6, 2026 through October 29, 2027 as its construction window and identifies HDR Engineering as the design firm.
HB2 carries the same floor area and estimated cost. Its submitted schedule runs from June 30, 2026 through January 5, 2028. No design firm is assigned in that registration.
These dates are schedules entered in filings. They do not independently confirm when work began, how far it has progressed or when the facilities will become operational.
What the Anthropic Record Does—and Does Not—Show
The Comptroller entry identifies a qualifying occupant for the Nexus data center. Both individual TDLR records, however, leave the tenant unassigned. It would therefore be premature to describe either HB1 or HB2 as a specifically allocated Anthropic building.
The $800 million total is the sum of two estimated construction costs. It should not be presented as an announced Anthropic investment or a confirmed contract award.
The Next Milestones Are About Delivery
For contractors tracking the campus, a useful next step would be a building-specific update identifying the delivery team and the work actually released. Changes to registered schedules would also help distinguish the original plan from the current program.
A finished shell and an operational computing facility are separate milestones. Readers should look for explicit updates on power availability and commissioning before assuming a filed completion date represents the start of customer operations.
