AB Energy Secures Approximately 2GW of Data-Center Power Projects
The Woodlands-based company reports modular generation commitments across five data centers in Texas and Oklahoma, without naming the individual campuses.
AB Energy USA announced September 28 that it has secured approximately 2GW of U.S. data-center power projects. Its ECOMAX modular systems are being deployed across five sites in Texas and Oklahoma using INNIO Jenbacher gas engines.
The announcement describes a multi-project supply portfolio. It does not disclose how much of the total belongs to Texas, identify the customers or establish that all 2GW is already operating.

Power and cooling infrastructure
The systems can incorporate absorption chillers that convert engine waste heat into chilled water. Battery storage is also included at some sites, according to the announcement. These are site-specific configurations rather than confirmation that every campus uses the same arrangement.
Campus details still to emerge
The release highlights demand for onsite generation as developers assemble power supplies for large computing loads. Individual site names, construction schedules and the split of capacity between the two states will be necessary to connect the equipment commitments with specific construction projects.
