Elon Musk has outlined a high-speed tunnel concept linking Austin and San Antonio, but a route, budget and construction schedule have yet to be established publicly.
A potential underground link between two of Texas’ largest cities is attracting attention after Musk described travel above 200 mph and a journey of less than half an hour. Electrek reported the proposal on September 21, following his social-media remarks over the weekend.
