DFW Airport Committees Clear $7.8M Terminal E Deal With American, $9.7M Wayfinding and $4.8M Airfield Power Gear

The items go to the DFW Airport Board on 5 Nov, alongside the previously reported Terminal F funding increase.
DFW Airport board committees on 3 Nov advanced a reimbursement agreement with American Airlines for a Terminal E Enhancement Project. The agreement is capped at $7.82 million, according to the airport's committee agendas and actions. The documents do not describe the scope of the Terminal E work.
Committees also advanced a one-year digital wayfinding signage contract with Ford Audio-Video Systems of Oklahoma City, not to exceed $9,727,468.80. Two purchase orders for the West Airfield Lighting Vault also moved forward: switchgear from Wesco Distribution for $2,959,714 and a generator set from MTU America for $1,875,650, a total of $4,835,364.
The full board meets on 5 Nov. No general contractor is named for the Terminal E work, which runs through American's reimbursement agreement.
The same agenda carried a $10 million increase to the Airport Enterprise Communication System contract with Synect LLC, bringing it to a not-to-exceed $22,977,286. Committees also advanced service contracts for window cleaning, pest management and ramp cleanliness. Those items are separate from American's Terminal F fit-out increase, which TCH reported on 3 Nov.
