Keller and Westlake Reach Settlement Over Circle T Data Center

Terms include enforceable noise limits, quarterly monitoring, landscaping, emissions controls and a contribution to Keller Fire-Rescue.
The cities of Keller and Westlake and Circle T Owner LP have reached an agreement resolving a lawsuit over a proposed data-center campus on the cities' shared boundary.
The terms include enforceable noise limits and quarterly noise monitoring for the first three years of operation. The agreement also covers landscaping, emissions controls and a financial contribution to Keller Fire-Rescue.
The disputed proposal has been described as about 1.1 million square feet. Texas Construction Hub reported Oct. 31 on an $83 million state filing for a data-center building at Circle T Ranch; it is not yet clear whether the settlement covers that building specifically.
Circle T Owner LP is the named development party. The settlement did not include any new construction contracts, a project value or a construction timetable.
The executed settlement and any related council actions had not been published as of this report.
