Fort Worth is considering an economic development agreement for Beacon Modular that would support at least $30 million in investment in the Alliance area. The company would be required to reach that investment by December 2027 and create at least 600 full-time jobs by December 2029, with a minimum average wage of $91,000. The proposed package includes up to $100,000 annually for five years, plus up to $500,000 from the city’s economic development fund. Fort Worth projects approximately $250 million in annual taxable sales from the operation. That projection describes expected activity once the business is operating, while the investment and job thresholds are commitments proposed in the agreement.
Council discussed the plan at an October 27 work session, with a vote scheduled for November 10. The decision would determine whether the city offers the proposed incentives and associated performance terms.
The development details are still taking shape. The $30 million figure is the company’s proposed minimum investment, and the available information does not break it down between property, building work and equipment. The exact site address, plant size, construction scope and contractor remain unconfirmed.
