Oncor Projects 20% Larger 2027–2031 Capital Plan After Record $9 Billion Year

Oncor Electric Delivery projects its 2027–2031 base capital plan to increase by about 20%, according to third-quarter results the utility filed Nov. 5. The company said the increase is driven by continued growth, customer demand and the infrastructure needed to serve the ERCOT market. It expects to finalize the new five-year plan in the first quarter of 2027.
