Curtiss-Wright Announces $30M Round Rock Manufacturing Expansion

The investment would expand nuclear and industrial instrumentation capabilities at the company’s existing operation.
Curtiss-Wright has announced a $30 million capital investment to expand its Round Rock operations, strengthening manufacturing capabilities serving nuclear-energy and industrial customers.
The expansion will support production of pressure and temperature sensors, alongside additional space for instrumentation and control products, including radiation-monitoring systems.
Plans also include an Advanced Innovation Center, a metrology testing laboratory and a project-management office. These functions would add development, testing and delivery support alongside manufacturing capacity.
The investment places Round Rock within a wider effort to expand the company’s nuclear-equipment capabilities. The company expects its workforce to grow, although it has not provided a numerical hiring commitment.
The October 29 announcement establishes the capital commitment but leaves the physical construction scope open. Building area, construction dates and the division of expenditure between equipment and building work were not disclosed.
It has also not been established whether the work will involve an addition, an interior conversion, equipment installation or a combination of those activities.
Architect, general contractor, civil engineering and MEP appointments have not been announced in the supplied information.
