Orion Group Holdings has secured a $115 million mission-critical concrete contract, marking the largest award in the history of its concrete business.

The Houston-headquartered contractor announced the win as part of approximately $250 million in October awards and change orders.

The record package covers foundations, slabs and site paving across multiple buildings, giving Orion a substantial role in both the buildings and the surrounding site infrastructure.

The award is included within the $250 million October total. The figures describe a major individual contract and the wider monthly order intake, rather than two amounts to be added together.

The company’s other October work spans mission-critical facilities, site-civil construction for a technology company, healthcare, cold storage and commercial buildings.

That mix provides a broader view of the markets supporting Orion’s concrete workload. The largest award anchors the month, while other projects spread activity across several construction sectors.

The customer and campus have not been disclosed. Although the company is headquartered in Houston, the announcement does not establish that the project is located in Texas.

Similarly, “mission-critical” should not automatically be translated into “data center.” The specific end use remains unconfirmed.
