Webber Waterworks Secures $538M Contract for Fort Worth’s Mary’s Creek Treatment Plant

Mary’s Creek treatment plant site plan

The authorized construction package will deliver a 10-million-gallon-per-day facility and reclaimed-water infrastructure in west Fort Worth.

Fort Worth has authorized a $537,982,128.13 construction contract with Webber Waterworks for the Mary’s Creek treatment plant, establishing a major delivery package within the city’s wastewater infrastructure program.

The facility will provide an initial treatment capacity of 10 million gallons per day, with membrane bioreactor technology forming part of the treatment process.

The project also includes reclaimed-water infrastructure, giving the development a role beyond wastewater treatment alone. That component connects the plant’s treatment function with the handling and potential reuse of treated water.

The contract was authorized on August 25, 2026. Although newly identified in the current research, it is an existing award and should retain that date when presented to readers.

For contractors and suppliers, the significance is the move from a planned facility into an authorized construction package with a named prime contractor. The award establishes a defined financial commitment to delivery, rather than an early estimate of what a future plant might cost.

The project combines treatment technology with the physical infrastructure needed to operate a large municipal facility. The confirmed scope therefore provides a substantial opportunity across water-sector construction and associated equipment supply, although individual subcontract and procurement packages have not been identified.

Webber Waterworks is the verified construction contractor. Other reported details, including Jacobs’s precise role, ultimate treatment capacity and a February 2030 completion date, still need to be reconciled against original documents.

Current mobilization also remains to be established. The arrival of an anticipated construction window does not, by itself, confirm that major site work has started.

An executed contract, notice to proceed and current progress report would provide the next level of detail on delivery. What is already clear is the scale of the authorized award and its importance within Fort Worth’s treatment infrastructure investment.
