Transport Enterprise Leasing is scheduled to break ground on November 5 at 10 a.m. local time for its largest facility, a 48-acre truck and trailer campus at 8400 North I-45 in Palmer. The site is planned to hold more than 1,500 trucks and trailers, with buildings for reconditioning and retail operations. Waxahachie Sun’s groundbreaking coverage

The main building will be a 60,000-square-foot reconditioning center, supported by a 6,000-square-foot retail center. The storage capacity makes the land outside those buildings a substantial part of the operating footprint. The project will combine vehicle circulation and storage with the indoor space needed to prepare equipment and serve customers.

LGE Design Build is the general contractor, and Hunter Engineering is responsible for civil and site design. The project is expected to create more than 40 jobs and is targeting an opening in Q1 2028.

The scheduled groundbreaking gives the project a public milestone and an identified construction team. The investment amount and a state construction registration have yet to be established in the available reporting.
