$500M-Plus Americana by Loews Hotel Under Construction in Arlington
The 23-story hotel will bring 507 rooms and more than 83,000 square feet of event space to Arlington’s Entertainment District.
Construction is underway on Americana by Loews Hotels at 1500 Convention Center Drive in Arlington. The development represents an investment exceeding $500 million.
The 23-story hotel will include 507 rooms, with 39 suites, and more than 83,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. HKS is the architect.
A building permit valued at approximately $227.34 million covers part of the construction program, separate from the overall development investment.
The project replaces the former Sheraton Arlington Hotel, which was demolished to clear the site. Completion is targeted for 2029.
