Oxbow Development Group plans a mixed-use riverfront destination at the former New Braunfels industrial property.

Oxbow Development Group is advancing plans to redevelop the approximately 11-acre Dittlinger Mill property beside the Comal River in New Braunfels.

The Silver Ventures development company presented updated concepts at an October 13 community session. Proposed uses include restaurants, shops, offices, residences, a boutique hotel and public gathering areas.

The redevelopment would retain the property’s industrial character while improving connections between downtown and the riverfront. Historic mill structures and silos are central to the concept.

Parking arrangements and floodplain constraints remain part of the planning work. Oxbow is targeting construction in 2028 and an opening in 2030, with an investment figure and general contractor yet to be announced.
