enCore Advances Upper Spring Creek Uranium Authorization

The South Texas project’s plant and first wellfield are built, with final production-area authorization expected by November 13.
Dallas-based enCore Energy has completed technical review and public notice requirements for the first production area at its Upper Spring Creek uranium project.
The company expects final TCEQ authorization on or before November 13, 2026. Its satellite ion-exchange plant and initial production wellfield are already constructed.
The public comment period closed October 19. Remaining steps include the final authorization signature and approval of the disposal-well completion report before operations can proceed.
Following approval, enCore expects to begin uranium extraction from the first wellfield. Uranium-loaded resin would be transported to its Rosita Central Processing Plant for processing.
At Alta Mesa, the PAA-3 Extension and PAA-8 applications remain under review. Detailed guidance targets final permitting for the extension by year-end and PAA-8 early in 2027.
