The municipal project includes a 9,490-square-foot building and site improvements on Haeckerville Road.

The City of Cibolo has registered a $6 million Animal Services Facility at 240 Haeckerville Road. The proposed project combines a 9,490-square-foot building with associated site improvements, adding a municipal construction project to the Guadalupe County pipeline.

The registration dates from September 15, rather than the October 20 report that drew attention to it. Its submitted construction window runs from December 14, 2026 through February 4, 2028.

Building and site works share the scope

The record describes delivery of a complete operational facility. That includes more than the enclosed floor area: the site works must be considered alongside the building when assessing the registered estimate. The filing does not provide a detailed division between those elements.

An animal-services building has a specific operating purpose, but the record does not publish its room schedule, kennel count or equipment list. Those details should not be filled in from assumptions about similar facilities elsewhere.

Delivery information is still limited

TABS2027001115 identifies the city as owner and the project as publicly funded. Neither a general contractor nor a design firm is assigned in the reviewed registration. That is an information gap, not a basis for naming a company associated with a different city project.

The scheduled start is a filed target. Procurement and city approvals will be the more useful indicators of readiness to build. Future coverage should track the delivery appointment, confirmed construction authorization and any change to the submitted completion date.
