Separate Sea Life and Legoland registrations carry $3 million estimates and matching November-to-April schedules.

Two registrations for interior improvements at San Antonio’s Shops at Rivercenter carry a combined construction estimate of $6 million. The Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland projects each list approximately $3 million, but describe different areas of work.

Sea Life’s entry covers 14,862 square feet, while the Legoland entry covers 3,060 square feet. The matching cost estimates should not be interpreted as evidence of identical scope, equipment or construction complexity.

Work within existing attractions

The registrations concern renovations to existing spaces rather than construction of new standalone attractions. Interior work can involve coordination with the surrounding building and its services, making access and sequencing relevant even when the external footprint does not change.

The records do not establish whether the attractions will remain fully open during the work, or set out any phased closure plan. They also do not itemize specialist exhibit equipment, so a detailed attraction redesign should not be inferred from the registered construction descriptions.

Separate records, shared schedule

Both projects were registered in September and list November 4, 2026 through April 2, 2027 as the proposed construction period. These are submitted schedules, not independently verified dates for mobilization and reopening.

The Sea Life record is TABS2027001217 and the Legoland record is TABS2027001214. A general contractor has not been confirmed in the reviewed filings. Paid members can see the listed design firm below; that role should not be relabeled as an awarded general-construction contract.
